Atouch Winwel is born, the largest manufacturer of home automation as a result of the merger between the companies A-Touchinter and Winwel.
The new company has as the majority stockholder the Grupo Bernardo da Costa and has a strong presence in the international markets of Tunisia, France, Austri, Luxembourg, Algeria and Brazil.
A-Touchinter Lda and Winwel Electronics Lda merged to make way for the largest Portuguese smart home manufacturer. A-touch Winwel will be the new name and will operate under the management of Ricardo Costa and Augusto Miranda.
The merger process started in the second quarter of 2019 and concluded by the end of the year. The new company Atouch Winwel, which has a team of 16 employees, is headquartered in Braga, at the Grupo Bernardo da Costa business hub. Internationalization is a big bet for the company, which is already present in Tunisia, France, Switzerland, Luxembourg., Algeria, Brazil, Germany, Morocco and Dubai.
