Atouch and Cascoda joined to bring first KNX IoT Touch Panels to the ecosystem debuted at World IoT Congress Barcelona.
Atouch Winwel is presented the first KNX IoT premium glass keypad with wall actuator (on/off,
shutter and later dimming capabilities).
Only two months after debuting its KNX TP range of glass keypads in Frankfurt’s Light + Building 2024, Atouch joined Cascoda to bring KNX IoT to its keypads with wall actuators.
This is a bold and first mover attitude to simplify the installation of touch panel using wireless KNX IoT. As they met and realized how complementary their technologies were Bruno Johson and Duarte Geraldes (CEOs) agreed on a common vision execute in record time by aligning technical teams.
It just six weeks the entire system had been built and tested showing full interoperability between KNX IoT and TP products, using the KNX Installer tool ETS 6.2. Two way communications was demonstrated showcasing fast response times and flawless reliability in a saturated WIFI environment.
Simple refurbishment or adding to existing TP installations is now possible in minutes rather than hours.
A fully working demonstration panel was available to touch and fell how easy the product is, market launch of the devices is expected in 3Q of 2024 (KNX certification allowing).
